Description

While a bitter battle for the heart of downtown Gallagher is brewing between an out-of-town multimillionaire real estate developer and a local entrepreneur, it's discovered that a local artist is missing. I have been hooked by this mystery series and am somewhat saddened that there is only one book left in the series that I haven't written. There is a nice discussion of race and crime, especially racism in the south before civil rights. I would say that this is a must read book.
