When I read a Jason Steed novel I lose myself in his world, I want to become Jason or one of his friends. Royal Decree was a great novel, I was so disappointed when I had finished it.
This is book 4 in the series, Jason goes to Northern Ireland and goes under cover as a foster child, the foster parents are suspected IRA terrorists.
The friends he makes at the local school are hilarious, it has lots of action, one sad thing is a main character gets killed in the book, that was sad.
After that mission is completed Jason attends an international school in Istanbul, Turkey, he makes new friends and one is a 14 year old guy from New Zeland, although Jason keeps calling him Australian, as an australian myself I can relate to it. The characters show more in the books are god, and funny. A great climax ending. show less

I just finished Royal Decree, yeah I am a Jason Steed fan, I have read all 4 books now. I love them, the action is non stop and Jason ends up all over the world again to places I had never heard off. Their was some very funny parts, plenty of action but not as much emotion as in book 1. I still loved it, Jason Steed is now 13.
