surprisingly tasteful selections of photos from the archives of the LA Times, focusing (as the title indicates) on employees in the city's primary industury, motion pictures. From silent stars (Harold Lloyd, Gloria Swanson) to MGM heyday years to some years on. Some stars featured more than once (Elizabeth Taylor has a particularly lengthy section, Judy Garland is featured at ages 13 or so, 17, and 36). not much text; a lot of clear black and white photography ... and a treasure.
