Description

To escape punishment, Tera, a maiden healer sold to barbarians must hide the truth: she has not yet come into her healing powers. Alright, the premise is good. The setting is good. The potential is there... But I couldn't help comparing this one with [b:Warprize|78070|Warprize (Chronicles of the Warlands, #1)|Elizabeth Vaughan|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1312035638s/78070.jpg|2114760], and it kept coming up short. There is no either coherency to the plot or a strong, charismatic love story, and the book which started strong, lost me by its ending. Otherwise it's an enjoyable enough read.
nice pacing, good character development, good world development, even some character growth. More mid fantasy than romance, author nicely avoided graphic details. Overall 85%
