Rocket and his friends carry on having fun from A-Z in this entertaining alphabet book, engaging in a range of activities from finding acorns to playing with zest and zeal. The twenty-six miniature 'stories' (or descriptions) contained herein all combine to create an over-arching narrative emphasizing the good fellowship between this playful puppy and his companions.
This third picture-book about that story-loving puppy Rocket - it is the sixth Rocket book overall, but three of the preceding titles are either early readers or board-books - presents an entertaining introduction to the alphabet, one that provides a bit of a story, rather than just listing items that begin with the twenty-six letters. The text is engaging and informative, show more and the artwork is adorable, making this another winner from author/artist Tad Hills. Recommended to all Rocket fans, and to anyone looking for fun new alphabet books. show less
