Another great court case for Kit Shannon to solve. The author is a former trial lawyer, and he does a great job of making you feel like you are in the courtroom listening and watching Kit unravel another mystery. This time she takes on some very powerful men in the city of Los Angeles; both railroad men and politicians, along with some bad police men. But her pursuit of justice and her powerful dependence on the Lord and His word, keep her from giving up. Once I start one of these books it is very hard to put down until I see how it is going to turn out.
