I enjoyed the issues I read in this BUT most of these issues were also in The Black Vortex GN, and I read them there. This comic started off ok in a goofy sci-fi way. However it became incoherent as chapters went on. There were huge gaps and jumps in the storyline which were filled in by a few paragraphs of text. I guess these gaps appeared in other comics but why not include them in this book? The craziness starts at chapter three. One minute Kitty Pryde is willing to join forces with Peter Quill to steal the Black Vortex; one page later there are X-men and Guardians of the Galaxy fighting each other over the thing. What happened? I remained mystified for the rest of the book. no reviews | add a review
Star-Lord comes face-to-face with Mr. Knife and you won't believe who's behind that snazzy mask. All this craziness seems to have put a little strain on Peter and Kitty's long-distance relationship ... but the growing mystery of the Black Vortex might destroy the couple's relationshp before Peter has a chance to screw it up himself. Kitty discovers a way to neutralize the Vortex's power, but the entire planet of Spartax is in grave danger. To guard the galaxy form this threat, the heroes' only choice may be to submit to the Vortex. No library descriptions found. |
