Fabulous in the things-that-go department, for the young reader who loves all things boat. Great rhymes, great vocabulary building, great images. Solid toddler pick!

Summary
This book is about all kinds of different boats. It also shows different adventures for the boats on different bodies of water. It is written in rhyme so it would be a fun read.

Reaction
I didn't realize there were this many kinds of boats. It made me want to buy one and go on an adventure and sail across seas.

Extension
Children should design a boat and make it during craft time. Let them sail it on some water. This will remind them about this book. ( )

This picture book with beautiful illustrations are rhymes describing all the different kinds of boats that can float. The illustrations and rhymes explain the parts of boats, the people that work on them, and all the places, ponds, lakes, rivers, oceans, where these boats are at. The genre is children's fiction and stories in rhyme.
