While on the phone with his mom, a little boy asks her how she will get back home to him. His mom says she will come on an airplane, but the boy wonders what would happen if the plane could not fly. The mom suggests another mode of travel, and the boy asks what she will do if it doesn't work. The boy asks and asks until finally, the mom says she will come home with a dragon. The boy then realizes that she will probably just take the plane, and waits longingly for his mom to come home.
This book is about a little boy who's mother has taken a trip and he misses her and wants her to come home. Throughout the book he offers different scenarios about her trip home getting delayed and going wrong and she is able to assure him that no matter what, she will make it home safe. Very touching
