Since the moment we first entered Downton Abbey in 1912, we have been swept away by its evocative world of romance, intrigue, drama, and tradition. Now, in 1925, as Downton Abbey prepares to close its doors for the final time, Jessica Fellowes leads us through the house and estate, reliving the iconic moments of the wonderfully aristocratic Crawley family and their servants as they navigate the emerging modern age. Really enjoyed revisiting this series again. Love the show very much and it was nice to get more behind the scenes information. ( )

I love Downton Abbey and I really enjoyed this book.
It's definitely worth having as a keepsake. It's filled with beautiful pictures, interesting facts and also a nice run through of the show. It breaks down the significance of locations in the house, characters' storylines throughout the course of the show and even has an episode guide at the back.

I think this book does a good job of representing the years passed on the show.

If you enjoy the show, you'll enjoy the book. ( )

I enjoyed this book so much, but then I enjoyed the series as well. The best part about the book is the photography. The actors and characters come alive in the photographs. ( )

I know I said that I absolutely did not want to read this, but my friend brought it home for me.

All I can say is it was a 100% improvement: It dealt with all the major characters, their rooms, the town, the living & gathering areas...

I would have liked to have seen much more of the costumes, but this was a lovely book. ( )
