I don’t normally like to give out anything in my reviews, but since this is on the very first page, I don't feel too bad about it. So Laurie is married and she recently found out that her husband cheated on her with his assistant, a/k/a her best friend. Having just finished the book, I am still trying to understand why I didn't feel at all how I expected to feel about these things. It might be S. Layne's writing or the way the characters were portrayed but somehow, I actually felt bad for James (the cheating husband). I would never forgive my own husband if I were to find out he did this to me so I was almost 100% positive that I would be team Liam. But I truly feel kind of torn between the two and if I were Laurie, I'd have no idea what to do. I am so surprised by this that I am extremely eager to read the next book and find out what she does, so she can decide for me as well!
