My Best Friend's Girl is well-written and has a very realistic feel to it, with fully fleshed out characters and a flow to it that I wish more writers could embrace. It's also a compelling read and I like little touches like Jessie's cat being named after Sheila E. I wanted to like it more than I did, but I just could not get past the infidelity aspects to the storyline and the way both main characters behaved.
