- About My Library
- For my pleasure reading, I typically read books of fiction, science fiction, fantasy, current events, history, anthropology and sociology.
In addition to my personal collection of books, serials, and videorecordings that I have cataloged in Librarything, I am also working on a comprehensive bibliography of gay, bisexual, and queer men's fiction published in the English language. This project is drawing upon (1) publicly-available online catalogs, (2) printed bibliographies such as The Male Homosexual in Literature: A Bibliography by Ian Young (1st ed., 1975; 2nd ed. 1982), (3) listings from collections at various universities which may or may not have made it into the online catalogs, (4) rare book vendor catalogs, (5) Amazon.com, etc.
As part of this bibliographic project, I am actively building a collection of gay pulp titles published in the 1960s and 1970s by Guild Press (Washington, DC), Parisian Press (San Francisco, Calif.), and Phenix Publishers/Greenleaf Classics (San Diego, Calif.) - About Me
