This series has been absolutely fan-freaking-tastic! Honestly I didn't know who Simon R. Green was until the Forest Kingdom saga, and this side series. Thank you Goodreads for having an inkling of an idea about my reading preferences.
For the plot, this installment is very graphic, gory, and action driven. There is very little subterfuge or espionage, and is fairly linear. It has been a great adventure from hysterical introductions to the bloody end.
