This cute little book is geared to little ones to get them up and dance. It is told in a rhyme singsong way so you could sing and dance with your little one. It teaches direction (up, down, left, right) and is just plain fun. The illustrations are so cute, that it will be enjoyed as a read aloud as well as an interactive experience. This book is part of the Holiday Jingle Series.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. ( )

A little girl and Santa do the Santa Shimmy. They dance and twist and twirl and have a lot of fun.

The Santa Shimmy is part of The Holiday Jingles series, where you'll find books like The Snowman Shuffle or The Elf Boogie and they are the right books for a little hugely enjoyable Christmas exercise for the whole family.
Told in rhyme and with colourful and vibrant illustrations here is the book to get your children (and the rest of the family) of the sofa and dancing.
At the same time the young ones will learn the directions low, high, to the right and the difference between doing something slow or fast.

I love books like this one, which offer the chance for the whole family to have some memorable moments together.
No matter if young or old, everybody can do the Santa Shimmy.

What's more, the book also offers the chance to dance away the evening before Santa arrives and as a result have the overexcited wee ones feeling quite tired and sleepy at bedtime.

So, let's enjoy this little gem of a book for quality family time and let's all spin around and puff out our bellies and have the cameras ready for the most delightful snapshots. ( )
