"4 out of 5 stars!! As a "cripple" life for Elizabeth (Lizzie) has always been tough but at least after she married Abraham she felt useful. Now two months after her husband's deadly accident, his younger brother Zachariah (Zack) comes into her life and changes it all around. Yet, even if her heart wants to move on is that the right choice for herself and her stepchildren?

This touching novel deals with the troubles that faces being a stepparent after their loved one has passed on while being in an Amish setting. I appreciated how Ms. Kertz handled this novel and how she portrayed the characters. Very well written and dynamic! Then to be pleasantly surprised..."
