My rating 5 out of 5 stars.
The Cedar Key series includes prior books titled, Hidden Identity and Shattered Haven. While each book in the series is a unique story, the place and characters continue throughout. Reading all the stories isn’t absolutely necessary, but I know I enjoyed each book more knowing what occurred in other novels.
Carol J. Post takes readers on an adventure in this book when Darci Tucker who formerly owned her own store now works for a man who is turning out to have dubious business transactions. Darci needs the job to support her and her autistic son Jayden so Darci tries to ignore what she is sensing, but soon it seems that ignoring the danger isn’t going to make it go away. Her boss is doing something on her computer during off-business hours and when Darci discovers what is happening, the tension skyrockets!
Conner is one of the mechanics working there. His sister also worked there and then disappeared. Is Darci going to disappear too or is she going to jail with the boss setting her up to take the fall? For a couple hours of entertainment and action, faith and romance, here is an author whose books you don’t want to miss! ( )

Mistletoe Justice (Cedar Keys, #3) by Carol J. Post

Hey I just finished by visit with the residents of Cedar Keys again! It was nice to revisit the characters from book two. This time I got to know Darci Tucker (Meagan’s boss/friend from book two) and Conner Stevenson. Due to the downward trend in the economy Darci has sold her shop to Meagan and taken a job with a local company to offer her son a better future. Conner Stevenson is taking care of his nephew due to the death of his sister who was replaced by Darci. Quite by accident Darci finds out that she is being set up. Although she doesn’t know him Conner is the only one that she can turn to. Thus begins the accidents, being followed, break-ins, computer hacking and just about anything else that can happen. And of course, along the way Darci and Conner fight their growing feelings for each other. This was a thoroughly enjoyed book as the third addition to the Cedar Keys series. I think this book was my favorite so far because their life situations were believable. I recommend this book and the rest of the series.

Carol Post has become one of my favorite romantic suspense authors. In her newest book, she delivers a powerful story that will grip you from the start. Get ready for a ride that you will never forget in this super charged action packed book.

Darci Tucker has found a new job at a company working in accounting. She really likes her job and the medical insurance it provides. Her son is autistic and with the insurance she is able to get him the care he needs. Her quaint and stable life is about to turn ugly when she discovers that she is being set up for embezzlement. Who is behind this plot to make her the fall guy?

Conner works at the same company as Darci, and has an agenda of his own. It seems while his sister worked for the company, she disappeared without a trace leaving behind a son. Did she find out something about the company that put her in danger? I loved when Darci tells Conner, "We can always find something to be thankful for if we look hard enough." Even in the midst of turmoil, Darci is able to rely on her faith and trust that something good will come to those that believe.

When Darci and Conner team up to uncover the mystery they find themselves in danger. Someone wants to keep them silent and the story takes off on a thrill ride of twists and turns. Someone from Darci's past shows up to cause chaos. Who is this person and why do they want revenge? The book is very well written with dynamic characters that add depth to the story. Carol knows how to weave a story that makes you heart race as she cleverly makes the story come to life with vivid details. The ending is a powder keg of action that will have you guessing till the end. This is a must read for all fans of romantic suspense and those looking for a great story of greed , deception and trust.

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review. ( )

There is nothing better than a story that holds within the pages suspense, danger, mystery and possible romance. Carol J. Post brings all those ingredients and more into her latest Love Inspired Suspense tale titled, Mistletoe Justice. One of the characters named Darci is trying to live her life in a way that glorifies God while caring for her autistic son as a single parent.
When she lands a job at P. T. Aggregates, Darci is elated as she can now have insurance for her special needs son and a better income. Darci thinks all her troubles are behind her and nothing but a smoother road lies ahead; she could never have been more wrong. Before she is fully aware of all the hidden evil that is occurring at her job, she is threatened and followed wherever she goes.
Darci finds Conner is willing to assist her in her search for truth. The myriad of ways Darci tries to get away from the men after her and protect her son along with tension constantly rising makes it hard to put the book down until its conclusion. Conner also brings with him a rebellious nephew, and perhaps he isn’t the man he appears to be at work.
I absolutely got a kick out of reading Carol’s latest book and I hope you will too when you read it!
