I really enjoyed this book, all of the fairy tales that they mentioned were classic fairy tales stories. I loved reading this story because she as the little girl goes through the book she is saving the characters from getting in trouble. It is like she is saving the day. Recommended by Lauren B at Cambridge Public Library Lucy is reading a story to her dog, Mr. Barker, but the inattentive pup jumps out her window...and into a fairy tale! Lucy follows Mr. Barker through several fairy tale scenes. She figures out where they are from the settings and characters, and brings many characters along with her from one story to another. They all wind up back in her bedroom, where she agrees to read them a story - one with NO wolves, witches, or giants in it! Lucy is reading stories to her dog, Mr. Barker. She stops reading because he is not listening to her and he decides to run off. As she is running after him, she runs through various classic fairy tales and picks up various characters along the way. They eventually all make it back to Lucy's house and she reads them all a story. no reviews | add a review
