A series of his essays, written over a period of some forty years, was published in Germany in 1975, the year after his death, and an English translation, The Form of the Book, has recently been published in this country. It suffers from havng been produced in the United States, with some lack of respect for the author's principles, unevenly inked, set too high on the page, «» instead of show more quotation marks, over-thick boards, a square back - and in the text, conversion of 7 and 11 mm to 2¾ and 4¼ inches. show less
