A twist on Little Red Riding Hood. Fantasy Africa.

Hilarious retelling, set in Africa, with a particularly excellent Little Red in charge. ( )

A different version of the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood. Little red's aunt gets sick and asks her to bring some medicine, on the way, she meets a hungry lion who asks her where she is going, she tells him to visit her sick aunt. In that, the lion makes a plan to eat both of them and calm her hunger. A very funny version and very beautiful illustrations of the classic story with a different teaching for children and for them to learn to ask for things with kindness. ( )

We can’t go wrong in kindergarten with a fantastic fractured fairy tale. In this rendition, Little Red heads through the jungle to bring medicine to her aunt. We can’t get enough of the cheerful, energetic illustrations.

This book contains colorful illustrations. This is a fun story that has a different twist from the classical version of the Red Riding Hood, where the Lion is the character that plays the antagonist. I would use these for small children from kindergarten to first grade. I would use this book to read aloud to students. ( )
