Readable, well-written essays - with calm economic analysis. It's very of-the-time though, and reading this in 2022 felt a bit like reading an old newspaper from 1941. We now know what happened with, for instance, the Greek Debt Crisis - and so a contemporaneous, partial economic analysis is only of so much value.
