Forever Pucked

Forever Pucked by Helena Hunting is a terrific addition to the Pucked Series. NHL captain, Alex Waters and Violet Hall are back and planning their wedding. Too bad the thought of the wedding causes Violet to break out in hives due to an embarrassing experience in her past that humiliated her. It doesn’t help that her mother and mother-in-law are totally getting involved-yikes. Needless to say, it is the premise for one entertaining book. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for new adult and adult audiences. It primarily takes place in Chicago. The story is told from both Alex’s and Violet’s point of views.

It’s hard not to like Alex. He has a huge heart. He takes good care of Violet. He is creative. Oh and he is captain show more of a professional hockey team. He understandably shows some insecurities in this novel. Violet is great for comic relief. The things that come out of that girl’s mouth are too much. She had me continually laughing. She is smart and clever. I like how she got Alex’s mom to try a new hairstyle – that was priceless. Then there is the rest of the crew. So glad they were all back.

Forever Pucked is not all laughs. There are some serious and scary things that also take place; events that change the lives of the characters forever. The plot was well-executed and believable. There are things that happen in the story that most people would be to relate to. I loved the epilogue. It was a wonderful conclusion to the story. This is a great series for anyone who enjoys contemporary sports romances and likes to laugh.

This was a cute novella that tied in to book one in the series where Violet and Alex finally tie the knot. Lots of comedy, tawdry jokes and cute couple moments. One of my favorite sports series.

This book sucked me back in like the first in the series did. I'd been missing the connection that I had in the first book. I have loved all of the books but there was just something special about Alex and Violet in the first book. I'm glad to see them finally get married and see a little more into their future than just a HFN.

If you've read the other books in the series, you know Violet is pretty crazy. She still brings a lot of comedy to Forever Pucked, loading it with silly fun, but this book has lots of heart moments too. I found several parts really touching.

I love how some of the hockey players, friends, lovers and families have formed a special little group. Each person brings his or her own unique personality to the overall makeup. No matter if the outside world would consider one of them to be ditzy, klutzy, promiscuous, mental, style-challenged, moody or whatever, they all have a special spot in their circle which couldn't be filled by anyone else.

Alex and Violet definitely have a unique wedding. Of show more course it has ridiculous bits, but I wasn't expecting as much sweetness. This book may have made me a little emotional a few times.

Fans of the series will not be disappointed. I'm excited to read more about this special bunch, and I'm really looking forward to getting inside Lance's head.

OMG! What a great book!! I laughed so hard, I cried! Violet and Alex are the best couple ever! This book has all of our favorite Pucked couples and all of their craziness!

Without giving anything away, just know that you will NOT be sorry you have wasted one minute of your life reading this book. It will take you from any mood and make you laugh, giggle, cry a little and get hot and bothered, all in one sentence probably! The Super MC and Beave are back and better than ever!

Helena Hunting has a knack for mixing some serious hockey and sexual hilarity all in one. I LOVE her books!! 10 SOLID STARS!!!

This book is exactly what you expect from this series-raunchy humor, hockey hotness, hilarious hijinks, and yes, even the feels. It was perfect for the story of Alex and Violet. Full review will be on the blog! The Book Disciple
