I love board books for toddlers! Their sturdy pages and washable surface make it a great introduction for little ones to enter the world of reading. The book is their own to explore and enjoy without any restrictions. I appreciated that this book has 20 pages instead of the average of only 12 most offer. That’s more to see and enjoy!
Each page has a colorful illustration of a different animal smiling as they do their job. This also helps a child see the “work” each animal does that is unique to its species. This adds learning to the fun!
We live in a day and age of constant busyness. Children, with no concept of responsibility, have difficulty understanding why adults have so much to do. Ms. Spinelli’s book shows children that everyone has lots to do, even the animals. Yet no matter how full the schedule the child is still important and there is always time for them.
A very sweet book with a very important message: Children are always important!
I received this book free from Worthy Publishing in exchange for an honest review. The opinions I have stated are my own. ( )

This delightful board book is ideal for toddlers and preschoolers. The active animals bring the story to life. Children also benefit from the message that mom will always have time for a cuddle no matter how busy she may be. The rhyming, rhythmic text entertains while teaching about the daily tasks of many animals. Occasionally the rhyme is strained or the animal was just generally busy rather than specifically so, but young children will enjoy the animated illustrations and jaunty text. Even if Mom is occasionally too “busy” to read the book, the illustrations come alive and could potentially entertain young children on their own, especially once they’ve become familiar with the story. I highly recommend this little gem for busy mothers and children everywhere.

This is a wonderful board book for moms to read to their children. Children will love the colorful pictures. I love the ending. Hopefully everyone remembers that this is the most important part. I received this book from Worthy Publishing for a fair and honest opinion. ( )

To a small child the world must seem like an overwhelming place. Everyone and everything is rushing around doing something. In Busy, Busy by Eileen Spinelli the busy world is broken down into charming rhyme and colorful illustrations. But at the end, busyness can be put aside for a reassuring cuddle. Sure to appeal to preschoolers, this book is a perfect addition for mommy/daddy and me reading time.

Recommended.

Audience: children ages 2-5.

Let's face it life gets busy but with Eileen Spinelli's book Busy, Busy ! youngsters are going to be reassured that no matter how busy their mother might be she will always have time to share her love and snuggle with them.

This is a sturdy little book that will withstand young hands, and many readings. The pages and covers are hardboard and shiny which would be easy to keep clean, and the rounded corners to the front of the book are great. The illustrations are vibrant and bright, I found myself smiling at the various animals as I turned the pages. I can see youngsters wanting to read along and I would think it would be great to point out the various animals on the pages. Written in a rhyming prose that flows smoothly. This book is really geared toward mothers, whether you're a stay at home mom, or work outside the home, life is always busy and this adorable little book would be perfect for reminding your youngster that you are never too busy to spend time with them! I can just imagine this being a great little read right before naptime or bedtime, or just anytime you want to snuggle with your youngster.

A complimentary copy of this book was provided for review. ( )
