The Characters:

Gavin Strong
Ellie Montague

The Story:

Ellie and Gavin meet in an intern/Ruler of the Country style that can either be a match made in heaven or the scandal of the year. Fortunately for us it winds up being a whirlwind love affair that seems to be ready to stand the test of time and all of the craziness that Gavin’s position can throw at them.

I loved the tension between Gavin and Ellie at the beginning of the book. Their passion jumps off the page. Gavin is super protective of Ellie and Ellie is brave enough to jump into this relationship where she knows parts of her life will never be her own. I really enjoyed getting to know them.

The Random Thoughts:

I’m really looking forward to Max’s book. It’s going to be fun.

Favorite Quote:
We need a kinky affair bat signal. Like, handcuffs spotlighted on the Peace Tower or something. But subtle.
