This review was written by my 7 year old niece, Tasha:

This was a book that was too easy for me to read but had important information for me when Tsuki was just born. It is partly about how even though I love Tsuki very much I might feel jealous that she gets a lot of my old attention from Ranni-Mommy and Papa. I learned that the best thing is to help out. Papa learned this to and also to still remember me which he does.
A new baby comes home and the big sister isn’t sure what to think. She finds ways she can help her parents with the baby and learns to interact with the baby. Eventually she gets to enjoy being a big sister.

Pretty typical. Fine, but nothing special about it.

Simplistic glimpse of what it is like to have a new baby in the family and you are the big sister. Nice points to pause and draw in discussion from the listeners about thier experience being an older sibling and whether or not there are more great things about being an older sibling, having a baby in the house and the challenges some of the kids have had or anticipate having when the baby arrives.
This is an excellent book for a young reader to connect with having a new family member. It tells the story of a young girl that is excited to be a big sister! This book can be very encouraging for readers going through a similar family change.

I'm A Big Sister shows us how it can be fun to be a big sister or big brother and help care for the new child, with is a great way to build bond between young sibling. I recommend parents to read it to big brother or big sister to be before the new child arrives.
Good for family addition, new babies in the family. Fun read inspirational for a confusing time for a young child.
This is a great book written in Spanish about a little girl who gets a new baby sister and how she gets to help. The family is seen as it grows and develops. Would use this book for a toddler who is about to get a new sibling.
