An awesome book filled with numerous short stories that keep one engaged. It peters off towards the end as the stories become "Much of the same". Would still recommend as it touches on much of the unique world that is Warhammer. (

Gotrek swings a big axe and Felix records the mayhem. If it is evil twisted and nasty Gotrek and Felix will fight it. Every now and then Felix begin to consider the moral or ethical questions of his world. But Gotrek promptly finds something to kill and all those pesky "thoughts" get covered in blood splatter and gore. (

Book description

This volume of almost 800 pages, includes three previously released books - Trollslayer, Skavenslayer, and Daemonslayer - of the unusual duo Gotrek and Felix, characters of the Warhammer Fantasy World. Less deep than most of the fantasy todays books is however very keen in it's humor and fast paced, making the book a source of savage - grim - fun for the reader. King's writing skills are good, not a Knaak, nevertheless he doesn't fail to the purpose of the book itself.
