Good book with surprise plot twists. ( )

This wasn't a bad little suspense book. The only thing that sort of bothered me about it was that an awful lot of characters were introduced. Sometimes I had problems figuring out how they fit into the story. However, it was a good quick read. ( )

When a teenaged babysitter disappears with the baby in her care, Maddy Blake, the mother of a three-year-old herself, is shaken. When the girl's body - though not the child's - is found, she's horrified. But she never dreams that the case will determine her fate.
The police arrive to question her husband, a teacher recently acquitted of sexual misconduct charges with a student.
