I am not sure why I grabbed this book, I guess because I love Friday the 13th, so I was "why the hell not". The book kind of has a cool concept a religious cult using Jason as the hand of God, its interesting...right?? The book has some good gore, but overall the story and the character development are weak (just like the movies lol). I am not sure what I expected. The book could have been a lot better with better editing and some story development. I gave it 2 stars just for the scene with Jason chained to a cross hanging in the middle of a Church. ( )

Jason Voorhees. Unkillable. Unstoppable. Camp Crystal Lake's most infamous son is back, and he's doing what he does best!

Following the drowning of a young boy named Jason Voorhees in 1957, Camp Crystal Lake has long been terrorized by a silent killer - a seemingly unstoppable murderer who hunts his victims in the dead of night. But when an insane religious group begin to worship Jason as a means of inflicting a holy retribution, they are oblivious to the carnage that will be unleashed when he escapes!
