Ethan has spent his entire life hiding violent urges from his family. They think he's just antisocial; what they don't know is he struggles every day against his growing desire to kill. Hoping a change of scenery will help, he escapes to Bermuda to join Isabelle and Stefan. He's not expecting Emma to walk into his life and give him the first peace he's known in years. However, the solace he finds with her is soon shattered when someone from Emma's past returns to claim her. When Emma's life is threatened, Ethan realizes the only way to protect her is to give in to the brutal nature he's fought so hard to contain. Is the promise of eternity with Emma enough to save him from the demon within, or will he be lost to his savage nature forever? ***Due to sexual content, violence, and language, this book is recommended for readers 18+ years of age.***… (more)

Ya know, it's definitely interesting to see what a pure bag would do if their mates threatened. I do wish that they showed the siblings talking about what's going on with them better. Because judging by the next book there's going to be so much confusion for this one kid, so if he'd only been able to talk to his brother etc but stuff whatever. I think it's really cool how fast he found his mate. It was basically no hesitation whatsoever lol. Overall pretty. And like the other books there were a few things that I was low concerned about that weren't tied together properly. But I mean you get that with anything right? ( )

This one is definitely the best of the 3 I have read in this series.
It is still overly wordy and repetitive. It is closer to young adult or new adult. If you are a mature 16 (who loves paranormal romance) up to about age 25 or 30, you would probably love these books. All the main characters are in their early to late 20's and you would be able to relate to them better than I can. It all depends on how you feel about adult sexual situations. If you feel you can handle them, go for it. These books are NOT erotica, but the intimacy between the main characters is adult. This one more so than the 1st two books in the series.

There is a lot to like in this one.

There is some decent suspense that shows up about halfway through. Tense moments throughout and plenty of romance. Both main characters, Ethan & Emma are likable. Ethan more so than Emma.

As for me, I have given all I am willing to give to this series and author, so I won't be continuing any of her other books. They just are not for me. ( )
