Description
The first volume of the series introduces us to Tomie, a girl who simply will not die. In the opening story, Tomie incurs the homicidal wrath of a lust-driven schoolteacher and his students. In "Photograph," she returns as a member of the oppressive Public Morality Committee and entraps an aspiring young photographer, Tsukiko. "Kiss" continues Tomie's pursuit of Tsukiko and her favorite schoolteacher. In "Mansion," Tomie and one of her minions take control of an old man, his house, and his show more only daughter, with grotesque results. Tomie é a patricinha irresistível que os jovens homens querem adorar e trucidar, com a diferença que eles realmente a adoram e a trucidam, dado seus poderes sobrenaturais de subjugação, multiplicação e ressurreição. Como patricinha ou monstro, ela é no entanto, bonitinha e ordinária ao extremo, e a mistura surreal de comentário social com terror e pitadas de humor torna essa coleção muito divertida.

Weird, violent and disturbing. Not sure why I kept reading. Can't actually give it a rating. I think if there's further volumes, I'll read them if I come across them. Otherwise I'm probably not going to go looking.
