Femme kept me laughing right up until the awful WTF ending. The book lost a star due to he instant ending which frustrated me. A quick beach read if you're looking for one. ( )

This was a fun, short read. Lionel’s campy af character was definitely the strongest point of this book. I loved reading his snarky POV, and his banter with Carlos was hilarious.

I didn’t like Dog, and not just because of the way he walked out on Lionel, TWICE, with absolutely no warning — who the hell does that?? I didn’t feel any sympathy for him when he came out to his family and when his homophobic dad wanted to sign him up for some kind of conversion therapy. He was just sort of there, but I felt no connection to him whatsoever.

The plot wasn't very original, but I’d been expecting that, so my only complaint on that front would be not enough focus on the romance between the MCs, and the abrupt, cutesy ending. ( )

This was fun. And thought provoking.
I adored Lionel. And even though he acted like an arsehole on occasions, I loved Dog too. ( )
