I had a great time reading this one. The plot twist was interesting, the suspense and thrill of what was going on was added to the knowledge, that while their troubles were happening, the characters were heading towards an event that could make matters worse. ( )

What a quick read and great story! It's a story about two thieves who swindle their way on the Titanic and start robbing the passengers. A lot of twists and turns throughout the book and I didn't guess any of them. Looking forward to reading more of these quick stories. ( )

I love anything about the Titanic, so I grabbed this book with glee. However, it didn't meet expectations. For one, the story was too short and the plot rushed and, secondly, I couldn't connect with either Nigel or Celia.

While "Taking the Titanic" was a quick, easy read and a clever concept, it certainly wasn't up to Patterson's normal high standard. ( )

Two thieves sail on board the Titanic, intent on robbing the first class passengers. But their efforts to keep secret their true identities and to keep from being caught pale as a darker plan is put into play, threatening the most innocent of the cruise liner’s passengers.

This is an interesting BookShots in that the deeper character development allows readers to develop relate to them as they make their difficult choices. The plot offers up a few surprises and keeps the pages turning until the final unexpected reveal.

Recommended. ( )
