This was a silly book about Hattie, who bakes all the parts of the wedding- music, glasses, ring, sunshine etc.- into the wedding cake. The wedding cannot happen because all the imporatnt things are baked into her cake, so she must release all of them in order for there to be a wedding! A pretty easy read (I took turns reading with a second grader) and a creative story plot. (

Hattie bakes a wedding cake and while she's baking everything gets stuck in the cake batter while she's making, such as chimes, groom's socks, etc. The wedding is ruined until Hattie gets all the stuff out of the cake. (
