Fighting Fate (Redwood Pack #7) by Carrie Ann Ryan

Pack princess, Cailin Jamenson, is the youngest and only daughter of Redwood family. She has been fighting her attraction to potential mate, Logan Anderson, because she does not want to give up her independence. The final battle with the Central Pack is on the horizon, causing Cailin and Logan to question their relationship.

I love this book, and I’m so sad that this series has ended. It has been a wonderful journey. Carrie Ann Ryan wrote an incredible conclusion to the Redwood Pack Series.

I adore Cailin. I think it was appropriate hearing her story last since she is the youngest and only female in the family. I can understand why she would be hesitant to be mated with having six show more overprotective older brothers. She is really a smart and strong heroine.

Logan is the epitome strong alpha. I love the interesting details we discover about his family. Cailin and Logan are a fantastic couple with great chemistry. They are easy to love and root for. They have fun dialog and work well together.

The plot was perfect. The action was non-stop. There was the perfect amount of drama and romance. I laughed; I cried, and I cheered. Fighting Fate had a satisfying ending, that felt complete.

A part of me has that hollowed out feeling in my chest because I’m sad that the series has ended. I was relieved to discover that there is going to be a spin off season of the Talon Pack. I’m a shape-shifter-aholic and Carrie Ann Ryan is a master at that topic. If you love paranormal books and have not tried the Redwood Pack Series I highly suggest it. If you are a fan of the series, you will not be disappointed.

The conclusion to the Redwoods. The last of the Jamenson siblings, Cailin, has finally found her mate in Logan. Plenty of scenes that are funny, loving, and hot through the book as well as plenty of action culminating in the explosive conclusion of the war between the Redwoods and Cayme and the Centrals. This book was really great and I am sad to see the series end but at least there are two more short stories and the branch off Talon series to read. :)
