Big Girls Use the Potty!

Our daughter is at that time of life - potty time. Accordingly, we bought a few books to read with her and encourage her. I chose DK, as I appreciate their quality of production. This book shows the marks of a DK publication: beautiful, glossy photographs and informative texts that are simplified for a younger audience. The text is comprehensive, but laid out in clear steps, and paired with photographs that enhance the message. I liked how the girl had a teddy bear, who she taught about potty training even while she was learning. The book also comes with stickers for rewards (which we didn't use, as our daughter doesn't respond to that kind of incentive yet). Looking at the whole package, I am happy I bought this book. It definitely show more didn't make my daughter potty trained just by reading it, but the more exposure to the concept, the better. show less
