The concept is weird, which I usually appreciate, but with this one it didn't track with any genuine relatability to the story or its characters. I was mildly confused as to what I was supposed to get out of it, but I guess it's just one of those kids stories. It's memorable, too, I'll give it that. ( )

This book is about a Lint boy and Lint Bear that live in a dryer. One day Lint Bear is taken away by a mean women with hatred against dolls. Lint boy goes on an adventure to unite with a group of dolls to rescue Lint Bear. This book was interesting however it was kind of creepy. I do not know if I would recommend this book or use it in my future teaching. This book is suitable for third through fifth grade and can be used to teach imagination and creativity in writing short stories. ( )

I enjoyed this story of interesting characters of dolls joining forces to conquer evil. The soft colors of the illustrations remind you of the soft colors of the lint you remove from your dryer which is where this story begins. Children will enjoy the small heroes and find humor in the story’s ending. I will recommend this book to reluctant readers. I don’t typically enjoy graphic novels but I loved the illustrations. ( )
