Kultakausi

Finnish art from the Golden Age (=Kultakausi) of Finnish art, i.e. the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, when National Romanticism inspired Finnish artists, yet they followed and were influenced by European artistic trends and artists as well. Many of the works pictured in this book had political significance during the waning days of the Russian empire right before Finland became independent.
