Na de vondst van het mobieltje en de bebloede jas van de vermiste 17-jarige Mallory, is de politie in de hoogste staat van paraatheid. Mallory voldoet aan het profiel van de slachtoffers van de seriemoordenaar die zich in tweets aan de FBI "Handyman' noemt.
Als Mallory twee dagen later verward en bebloed wordt aangetroffen en zegt ontsnapt te zijn aan de Handyman is er geen reden om aan haar verhaal te twijfelen. Of toch wel? Heeft zij nu juist zijn aandacht op haar gevestigd en is zijn jacht nu echt begonnen?

Read it in 2019, but only now (2023) found out that this is actually the 2nd book of a series. Wow, lol. Didn't find it confusing, character-wise, though.
