Saved by the SEAL by Susan Sleeman
Ms. Sleeman starts another book off with a bang, or a slew of bangs as someone drives by Bree Hatfield’s home with what she thinks is machine gun fire. Bree has been left with the custody of her months old goddaughter, Ella, when her best friends are killed in what has been ruled an accident. Bree thinks it was murder but the police don’t believe her so she starts investigating on her own. With her home riddled with bullet holes, she runs to the home of her ex-boyfriend who is away on assignment, with her mother and the baby in tow. Navy SEAL Clint Reed is looking forward to a couple of weeks peace and quiet only to find the woman he never stopped loving, her mother and a baby scared and hiding at his ranch. Clint never wanted to leave Bree but felt that he was following God’s lead by being a SEAL and his life style wasn’t conducive to a wife and family. He vows to help Bree solve this situation and keep Bree safe. Clint is a great hero because he follows God’s leading even though it leads him away from his soul mate. He asks God to show him a way for them to be together. Not getting an answer right away he is prepared to leave Bree behind again although that is not what he really wants to do. If you want to find out where God leads Clint and how Bree deals with all of this you will need to read Saved by the Seal. I highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a good Christian suspense/romance book.

Saved by the Lawman by Margaret Daley
While jogging in the park, family-court judge Kate Forster someone tries to kidnap her infant son, but police officer Chase Walker thwarts the attack—and vows to keep the pair safe. Kate and Chase have never met, but see each other occasionally at the court house. After saving Kate and her son the attraction is almost immediate. If you want to find out who is trying to kidnap Kate’s son and why you’ll need to read Saved by the Lawman by Margaret Daley. I enjoyed this Christian suspense/romance and would recommend it to anyone that type of story.

Her Baby’s Protector is two short stories by Margaret Daley and Susan Sleeman. The first story – Saved by the Lawman by Margaret Daley is the story of Family Court Judge Kate Forster. Someone tried to kidnap her infant son but was stopped by police officer Chase Walker. So now they must work together to figure out who has a vendetta against her. The second story – Saved by the Seal by Susan Sleeman is another page turner. The story starts out with bullets flying and the action doesn’t stop until the end of the story. Bree Hatfield now has custody of her friends’ baby girl, but she doesn’t believe the “accident” that killed them was an accident. As she starts investigating on her own she ends up in great trouble and runs to her ex-boyfriend, navy SEAL Clint Reed, for help. Now, he must protect the one woman that he’s never stopped loving against an assailant that is bent on murder. ( )
