Lovely art style from Tagame and I actually like this section (along with book 3) of the story better than book 1, as some of the characters are fleshed out a bit more. ( )

I stand with my first opinion: it read like a 'How To' for Westerners.

That didn't lessen my enjoyment. The unrealistic romantic in me hoped there would be a new romance but at he same time I'm glad there was not.

I don't know. I love found families but I'm a bit bummed that I was left with questions een if I think that was intentionally done. ( )

Yaichi's character development continues and Mike does some touristy stuff. Mike meets a closeted high-school buddy of Ryoji's.

Not quite up to the standard of Volume 1. The layout was less pleasing somehow. And definitely more of a MESSAGE book. ( )

The second part of the story when Yaichi and his daughter Kan gets a visit from Yaichi's deceased twin brother's widower. Wonderful ending of the new friends and their new bond with each other. Very tender story overall. Very nice art too. ( )
