My grandfather fought in WWII on both sides of the war as he is from Finland. This book is yet another quality historical novel of the Winter War. If you don't know anything about the Fins fighting the Russians in the early part of WWII trying to hold on to their independence then you need to read this book. If you like to read historical war stories, WWII books, or in general want to know more about WWII that isn't in the massive collection historical books covering U.S European conquests or Pacific Battlefront pick this book up.
