It's team-up time! Two of pop culture's greatest teams collide in the graphic novel you thought you'd never see in JUSTICE LEAGUE/POWER RANGERS! The Justice League have never met heroes like these teenagers with attitude before! When a teleporter accident brings the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers from Angel Grove to Gotham City, Batman isn't sure what to make of these masked martial artists and their highly suspicious giant robot dinosaurs. It's time to call in the DC Universe's greatest heroes - the Justice League! But the League and the Rangers will have to get over their distrust quickly, because the fate of two worlds is on the line! When the Power Rangers crossed between worlds, they weren't alone - Lord Zedd came with them. And when Zedd meets Brainiac, neither the DC Universe nor the Rangers' home Earth is safe. But when these two mighty teams join forces, they morph into a fighting force like neither world has ever seen! Writer Tom Taylor (INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US) and artist Stephen Byrne (GREEN ARROW) bring together the classic Power Rangers lineup and the greatest superheroes of the DC Universe in this crossover sensation.… (more)

What a weird, ridiculous story. It may have worked better if the cheese of the Power Rangers hadn't been preserved so faithfully. ( )

Absolutely blown away by the graphics and quality of this book. Thank you so much for the giveaway, I loved it and my 15-year-old son loved it. I haven’t seen him read anything in at least two years, it was definitely a pleasant surprise to see him pick it up and read it all the way through. Really a great job, congratulations! ( )

DC Comics and Boom! Studios present Justice League/Power Rangers, written by Tom Taylor with art and colors by Stephen Byrne. After Lord Zedd attacks the Rangers' Command Center, Zack grabs Zedd and tries to teleport him away from Zordon, accidentally teleporting across dimensions leading to an encounter with the Justice League. The Rangers follow and must team-up with the JLA to combat Zedd, who has allied himself with Braniac. The basic premise is exactly as awesome as kids may have imagined in while playing with their various toys in 1993. Batman's brooding nature leads the Rangers to doubt that he's a hero while Billy and Cyborg pair off perfectly to tackle the problem from a scientific standpoint. Writer Tom Taylor strikes the right balance between action and humor, doing justice to the characters of both franchises, while Stephen Byrne's art successfully matches the aesthetic of Boom! Studios' ongoing Power Rangers series and the DC Universe line of comics that followed DC Rebirth. The only nit-pick I can find is that the Rangers are using the Mighty Morphin' Megazord rather than its replacement, the Thunder Megazord, that took its place following Lord Zedd's arrival. This slight continuity issue aside, the story is a treat for fans of both franchises and anyone who grew up in the 1990s. ( )

I loved the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as a kid and so this was definitely a fun crossover to read. Seeing them alongside the Justice League was really cool.

And something I really liked in this TPB was the humor. Especially Batman scaring Bulk (awesome).

There was also some fun science stuff, tons of Justice League Bad guy and Zed stuff, and a lot of cool fighting too.

It was a fun TPB and at the end there was a nice nugget that could mean more in the crossover too. Always a good thing.

I received this book via Netgalley thanks to DC Entertainment. ( )
