This book talks about the importance of taking care of your body to be healthy. It talks about the importance of eating healthy, lots of fruits and vegetables and a variety of healthy foods. It stresses playing outside to get vitamins from the sun and fresh air for a strong heart and lungs. Various types of exercise such as riding bikes, playing basketball and using a hula hoop are shown in the wonderful illustrations. The importance of keeping hydrated during exercise as well as using water to wash and keep clean are also mentioned. The final important point is getting enough rest and sleep to keep your mind and body sharp. All of these are told in an easy to read story with large colorful illustrations. At the back the book are show more questions, activities and a glossary to reinforce the concepts in the book. A great book when teaching about healthy living.
