"The Worst Fairy Godmother Ever!" by Sarah Aronson is a great nonfiction book/series that I feel girls 7-10 would be really interested in reading. This is a great book that goes through the first couple of levels of becoming a fairy godmother. It tells the story of Isabelle is about to begin her fairy godmother training and has not prepared for it at all. She is in the shadow of her sister, who is the fourth best fairy godmother in the fairy godmother world, and her grandmother, who is the president of the "Fairy Godmother Alliance." Isabelle is given her first practice princess after passing the first level of training, and from this paring, a friendship is made. This book goes into the different trials that were gone through prior to Isabelle and Nora becoming as well as how Isabelle was going to give Nora a 'happily ever after.' This first book was great, and I. am sure the rest of the serious is just as great as this book. ( )
