I have found this book about colours to be helpful to both of my children at differing ages. For example, when my son was an infant (as my daughter now is), we enjoyed just naming and looking at the colours. Now as a toddler, my son likes naming individual objects and is noticing they are all the same colour. A great little book! ( )

The happy baby series is fantastic. We read all the books in this series over and over again. Ali loves the games we play with these books. They are colorful and simple and great for expanding vocabulary and playing games. This book has the same pictures as the other ones, but it's arranged by color. At 15 months, Ali is intrigued by color even thought she doesn't quite "get it" yet.
Update: now she's two years old, and knows her colors very well. She loves to read this book on the potty. ( )
