This book was at a little free library. I have always admired Kinkade's paintings. This book discusses some family memories and traditions of Thomas Kinkade, his wife, Nanette, and their daughter Merritt. Kinkade discusses how becoming a father changed his artistic viewpoint.

There are photos of some Kinkade paintings included in this book.

I must admit, I didn't know much about Kinkade prior to reading this. I said earlier that I admired his paintings--or I did until I read once that he didn't do much of the painting on some of them (I'm guessing sometime after his popularity took off)--that he would only put the "finishing touches" on. I still like how the paintings look--but that sort of killed my desire to pay the prices wanted for Kinkade paintings. ( )
