I truly enjoyed this book for several reasons! Not only does it include other authors/illustrators' favorite colors, but the pictures are amazing! This is a beautiful great read for children to learn and discuss their colors. This can also create discussion for students to think about what their favorite color is and why. The illustrations enhance the story and really pop out at you! I thought I had seen all of Eric Carle, but this new book really is one of his best! ( )

Eric Carle picked other children’s authors, and they all picked their favorite colors. Each author in the book describes in detail why they choose the color they did. At the end of the book, Erick Carle gives a tribute to the authors and their works. ( )
