Compromised! A Pride and Prejudice Variation

In general I enjoy Pride and Prejudice variations. Can't lap up enough of Mr Darcy! This one was not up to standard. Austen's biting wit is lost and Darcy seemed a bit wet. It actually rewrites the original story rather than others that I have read which put a new perspective on the original rather than changing it. The story goes that if a man and woman were caught together, you only had to shout 'compromised' and the couple were rfequired to marry. It reads like a game of Snap!

In this Pride and Prejudice variation, Elizabeth is very quickly compromised by Darcy and starts the process of falling in love. Can the DeBourgh and Matlock siblings stop the marriage. How many compromises can occur in one village?
