I first read this book in 1967, and have finally managed to track down a copy. This is science fiction at its best - no aliens, no imaginary science, just mankind's interaction with science. Recent developments in quantum physics have made this story even more believable than it was when first published. If you haven't read Christopher Hodder-Williams, start now!
I came across the book in our local library in the late 1960s - for some reason it has lodged itself in my head. I remembered the title, but only just now have found the author. I Must look for more of his work.
