Froggy's so funny!! He never once stops to think about what he's doing. He is just like most of the kids I've known. Froggy loves his bike...even though he only has one in his dreams! Then he finally gets one and wants to ride it and do all sorts of tricks.....but he hasn't even learned to ride yet!!!

When reading this book, I laughed just as much as Frogilina =)
I enjoyed reading these books as a kid, and I enjoyed it even more now! This book can be humorous, but it comes with a lesson that kids can infer after reading. I recommend this book for elementary school kids because it has just enough words to challenge them, but they will be able to understand what is going on because it has pictures to go along with it.
In an odd way, this reminded me of my experience when I was learning to ride a bike. The most apparent similarity was the way Froggy's father insisted that he wouldn't let go, only to let go each and every time. This wasn't a great trust building experience for me, and I imagine it wasn't that reassuring for Froggy either.

I love these Froggy books! They are so interactive and thrilling. Kids really get into them and can make the sounds and say "Froooogggyyyy!!" along with the book. These books are great to read to young children and of tern come with little mini lessons that can be discussed with children.
Why does the dad say he won't let go, and then he does? I really don't think this is the way to learn to ride. I'm sure it wasn't the way I learned, or the way my brothers did. At least Froggy is wearing a helmet.
Froggy Rides a Bike by Jonathan Landon is a fun fantasy book for children to read. This picture book has great illustrations that will catch young readers attention. Children will love this book because it is about a little froggy learning how to ride a bike, and most children love riding bicycles so they will enjoy listening about a froggy riding a bike. The words in this book are simple and will be easy for the children to understand. I recommend this picture book for teachers to read to their children during circle time.

Froggy Rides a bike, my daughter loves this book, she is learning to ride a bike and every day she looks the book and ask me when I will to remove the training wheels from his bike. She is exiting with her bike and in some aspect she feel identify with this books. Also she is learning to read and this book is perfect for beginners’ readers. This book shows the emotion when children are going to have a new tow in this case Froggy is going to learn how to ride the bike, the night before he was dreaming with his bike that he was going so fast in his bike, when he wake ups she look thought the windows and see his new bike. He run outside to ride the back he is super exiting and his dad help him how to ride the bike.

Jonathan London was born a "navy-brat" in Brooklyn, New York, and raised on Naval stations throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. He received a Masters Degree in Social Sciences but never formally studied literature or creative writing. He began to consider himself a writer about the time he graduated from college. After college he became a dancer show more in a modern dance company and worked at numerous low-paying jobs as a laborer or counselor. He wrote poems and short stories for adults, earning next to nothing despite being published in many literary magazines. For some 20 years before he penned his first children's book, London was writing poetry and short stories for adults. In the early 1970s, he was reading his poems in San Francisco jazz clubs, and those experiences found their way into his witty children's book Hip Cat, which has been featured on the PBS children's television show Reading Rainbow. After writing down the tale The Owl Who Became the Moon in 1989, London began to wonder if other people might want to read it. He picked up his kids' copy of Winnie-the-Pooh and saw that the book was published by Dutton, so he casually decided to send his story to them. Surprisingly enough, they wanted to publish him. Working with different illustrators, and occasionally with co-authors, London has produced literally dozens of books. Most have appeared under his name, but some have come out under a pseudonym, which still remains a secret. He has published over forty books and has earned recognitions from organizations like the National Science Teachers Association.
